Dear Ruth, Phillip and David, Heartfelt condolences from Jackie and myself - it's difficult to take in the news. I have many fond memories of Duncan and you on many a memorable ORAHS trip over the years, as well as your great hospitality in Perth. Not only was Duncan always the life and soul of any ORAHS occasion , he was also a generous giver of his time and expertise. His key input to the Balance of Care model in the early 1970s was critical in its early development and was fundamental in to its subsequent - and continued - relevance in health and social care planning 40 years on. He'll always hold a special place in my affection; I'm very grateful for all the fond memories he has left us, and the wisdom of his experience. Paul and Jackie Forte
